Fr Ken Barker
Fr Ken Barker is the founder of the Missionaries of God’s Love (MGL). Fr Ken was ordained in 1974 for the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn by Archbishop Cahill and for the next two years was assistant parish priest in Cootamundra, NSW. At the beginning of 1986 Fr Ken and others, with the permission of Archbishop Francis Carroll, moved into a suburban house and began a common life of prayer, brotherhood and mission, which soon became called the Missionaries of God’s Love. Their work is primarily to move under the grace of the new evangelization and the new Pentecost in the Church today, by bringing the Good News of God’s Love to all, especially young people and the poor . Fr Ken is also the co-founder of the MGL Sisters who live the same charism.

Judy Bowe is the leader of the Missionaries of God's love Sisters. Prayer is her favourite teaching topic as she wants to encourage people to pray however they can. She has studied Education, Theology, Spirituality, Counselling, Supervision and Leadership, but was still crazy enough to go on the Amazing Race in 2019, (which she and Therese would have won except for one dodgy postcard!). Her favourite activities are running, swimming, eating, doing creative stuff, laughing with people and listening to their stories about God. She is ambitious to develop, and help others develop audacious trust in God’s love.

For the past 25 years Dan Moynihan has served in many different capacities within diocesan, parish and education systems. Currently Dan is supporting the Diocese of London as Pastoral Services Coordinator enabling parishes to embrace the diocesan vision: becoming a mission oriented Church which forms disciples of Jesus. Dan and Lisa (a secondary religion teacher at Catholic Central High School in London, ON) have been married for seventeen years and have four children: Emma (14), Liam (11), Andrew (10) and Clare (8). Enabling time to be with them out-of-doors is his greatest pleasure. Close behind is the time he can spend coaching minor basketball and lacrosse.
